These are behind the scenes images of how we frame the digital painting ("Face to Face" from the collection 2055) printed on Alu-Dibond (150cm x 220cm)

The first step was to unpack the frame and check if everything is alright and nothing got broken during transport. Then we had to lay it down on a large desk so its easy to work on it.

In this stage we had to build a custom wooden structure to stabilize the frame and to make sure that the Alu Dibond plate get‘s its floating impression.

After a few placement tests we applied some glue to the wooden panels!

Thats the wedding stage! The painting finally meets the frame!

It requires a lot of fine adjustment to fit the frame perfectly! There has to be a 5mm (0.2inch) gap between frame and the image.

That‘s the final stage! Lets give it some time to dry and to get connected to the wooden framework.
